Over 80 Cypriot lyceum students, mainly in their third year, had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a day devoted to the Life and Health Sciences.
The students were able to gain insight into a series of related fields through hands-on workshops and presentations on campus this past Saturday; experiencing the modern laboratories of the University, and getting to use its state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
At the same time, the students were acquainted with the various academic programmes of study offered by the University in these fields. Such programmes are extremely popular today, opening up new professional directions with employment prospects throughout Europe.
This first dedicated series of workshops on Life and Health Sciences was organised by the University in collaboration with the Cyprus Association of Teachers of Natural Science and Biology.
