Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Dr Argyridis is a Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Curriculum Lead for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Nicosia Medical School. He completed his medical degree (MD) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2004 and obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the Hellenic Republic in 2011.

He served as a Consultant at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia from 2011 to 2021, and as Assistant Director from 2021 to 2025. He specialised in Fetomaternal Medicine (abnormalities of foetal growth, prenatal diagnosis), Reproductive Medicine (female infertility, endometriosis, PCOS), Gynaecological Oncology (cervical pathology, ovarian malignancies) and Urogynaecology (urodynamics), training in various centres in Greece and the UK.

He is also the National Co-ordinator for the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics and Gynaecology courses in Cyprus. His research interests include abnormalities of foetal growth, preterm birth, endometriosis and HPV infection.
