Advancing Academic Wellbeing: <\/strong>3rd Transnational Meeting of the Anti-Burnout Puzzle for Academics<\/strong>, Held in Cyprus<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The University of Nicosia hosted the 3rd transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ project\u00a0\u2018Anti-Burnout Puzzle for Academics\u2019, on 27-29 May 2026,\u00a0in Nicosia, Cyprus. All consortium partners were represented, including the University of Nicosia, Cyprus; Dobre Kadry Centrum Badawczo-Szkoleniowe Sp. z o.o., Poland; and Bratislava University of Economics and Management (BUEM), Slovakia. Working sessions took place at the University of Nicosia premises, where partners reviewed project progress, coordinated upcoming activities, and reinforced cooperation across the partnership.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, partners presented the results of workshops developed under Work Package 2, while the University of Nicosia presented progress under Work Package 3. The consortium also discussed the Anti-Burnout Strategy Policy and reviewed the WP4 R3 Communication Package, supporting the wider dissemination of project outputs and results.<\/p>\n

The project focuses on improving the psychophysical wellbeing of academic staff through tools and strategies for burnout prevention, resilience-building activities, institutional support materials, and the international dissemination of results. By addressing burnout through practical and collaborative approaches, the partnership aims to support healthier and more sustainable academic working environments.<\/p>\n

In addition to the formal project sessions, participants took part in activities that reflected the wider wellbeing focus of the project. These included a guided walking tour of Nicosia, a yoga meditation session in Larnaca during sunset, and a closing dinner. These moments offered further opportunities for reflection, exchange, and partnership building.<\/p>\n

The meeting in Nicosia marked an important milestone in the implementation of the project and reaffirmed the shared commitment of all partners to developing meaningful resources and strategies that respond to the challenges faced by academics across Europe.<\/p>\n
