Dr Andri Vrioni (Ba, Ma, PhD) is Head of the Office of the Rector and Director of the Pedagogical Support Unit. She develops quality models and indicators for teaching and learning. She is also responsible for introducing innovative teaching and learning pedagogical methodologies related to Diversity and accessibility, generation gap, problem-based learning, ICT based education, new methods of teaching and learning. Before joining the University of Nicosia, she coordinated the Evaluation Committee of Private Universities (2007-2015) where she produced several reports and monitor agency’s external evaluation procedures. From 2015-2016 she supported new agency’s (DI.PA.E) procedures for developing qualitative and quantitative evaluation criteria and self-study templates. Her research interests focus on the evaluation and certification of learning, E2STEAM Learning, Brain-Based Learning Education, STEAM Curriculum Development, Development of Multimodal and Simulated learning environments, Authentic Assessment, technology-enhanced learning (TEL) and, integration of new technologies in all levels of education. As a researcher, she has published papers in international conferences and journals and has received EU research funding. She also participates as a project manager, coordinator and national partner in various research projects.
