The project\u2019s main objective was to enable moving communities to shift the negative attitudes the media have built around them by connecting migrant communities to local communities through creative artistic practices. In Cyprus, the project\u2019s work was carried out by the University of Nicosia Research Centre in collaboration with the Municipality of Lakatamia\/hack66. The Cyprus section of the project examined the importance of makerspace culture in the advancement of contemporary social art and design practices. Evi Tselika was the UNRF Phygital Cyprus coordinator and responsible for overseeing the whole implementation of the project on behalf of the university.
